Haibin Experimental Primary School is a public school directly under the Nanshan Education Bureau of Shenzhen, which founded in September 1995 with original name Haibin Primary School. The school structure is Two Departments, Balanced Development". Yukang Department is located at historic and cultural Xuefu Road, which occupies 11,207 ㎡;Shenzhen Bay Department is located at the coastal resorts with beautiful scenery, which occupies 23,840㎡. There are totally 1900 students,106 professional teachers in two departments including nine teachers with Graduate Education Degree (one with Doctor’s degree, five with Master’s degree, three in graduate students course), 97 teachers with General Degree; 3 teachers with senior secondary school teaching Certificate , 57 teachers with advanced senior teaching Certificate, 38 teachers with primary lever teaching certificate.

海滨实验小学是深圳市南山区教育局直属公办学校，创建于1995年9月，原名海滨小学。学校现为“一校两部”的办学格局，愉康部坐落在历史悠久、文化厚重的学府路，占地11207㎡；深圳湾部位于碧海蓝天、风光绮丽的滨海旅游胜地——深圳湾畔，占地23840㎡。两部现有学生近1900人，专任教师106人，其中研究生学历9人（博士1人，硕士5人，研究生课程班3人），本科学历97人；中学高级教师3人，小学高级教师57人，小学一级教师38人。

海滨实验小学秉承南山教育理念，以特色造就卓越品牌，以文化引领内涵发展，走出了一条“特色立校、文化兴校”的发展之路，成为了南山素质教育的一张亮丽名片，先后荣获“全国学校艺术教育工作先进单位”、“深圳市文明示范单位”、“深圳市教育系统先进单位”、“深圳市学校艺术教育先进单位”、“深圳市器乐教学示范学校”、“深圳市绿色学校”、“南山区德育创新学校”、“南山区现代化示范学校”等荣誉称号，并两次获得“深圳市办学效益奖”。

从1995年建校之初，海滨实验小学就凭借自己对素质教育的独到理解，在深圳市率先提出了“以美启真”的办学主张，倡导通过艺术的手段，来启发学生掌握真知，培养真情，学做真人。十几年的艺术教育改革与实践，学校取得了丰硕的成果，铸造出了具有区域特色的艺术教育品牌，形成了享誉南粤的“海滨艺术教育模式”。实践至今，学校先后有300多项艺术作品在全国、省、市、区获奖；代表深圳参加了联合国少儿国际艺术节、国际花园城市颁奖晚会、亚洲少儿艺术节、中央电视台、香港回归等各类大型文艺演出；先后接待了来自美国、加拿大、俄罗斯、北京、上海等国内外80多所学校和艺术团体的参观访问；接受了来自联合国教科文组织、国家艺术教育委员会等50多个部门领导和专家的评估和考察，成为了广东乃至全国艺术教改园地里的一支奇葩。

为进一步提升办学内涵，推进学校可持续发展，2007年，学校提出了“全面实施个性化教育”的办学理念，确立了“办适合每个孩子个性发展的学校”的办学目标。近四年来，学校以文化为引领，以项目为平台，先后开展了“布卢姆教育目标分类学实践应用”、“德育目标分层”、“小学阅读考级”、“一年级课程整体改革”等一系列教育教学改革与实践，总结和积累了一批有价值的实验成果，学校教学质效显著提高，办学特色愈加凸显，美誉度持续提升。近年来学校先后获得多项省、市、区教育改革创新成果奖，顺利通过省、市绿色学校评估验收，成功进入深圳市首批艺术特色创建学校行列，由学校教师和家长共同撰写的个性化教育读本《让家长告诉家长》一书由北师大出版社正式出版，三十多篇个性化教育教学论文先后在《中国教育学刊》、《现代中小学教育》、《中小学德育研究》、《教书育人》等国家和省级刊物发表。
